It's like the cast is constantly trying to get a pharmaceutical commercial started, but the narrator never steps in.
And Zaslov has the audacity to put this in the MAX Holiday Calendar as a little present.

He's a bad realtor who doesn't know what the home buyers he talked to are looking for. She's a property stager who should probably be a wedding planner. Now that her mom is moving out of her childhood home, can these two ex-high school lovebirds, who seem to have never spoken to each other before, finish their home staging in time for the Christmas Eve showing deadline that they created for themselves, so that they can potentially earn 15% extra on the home sale vs an unstaged home???
The production quality was high for a bad holiday romance movie - with some unusual home reno-show tics that make this a weird "movie." But on the acting side, the leads are…

Hate, hate, hate. Double hate. LOATHE entirely. What the actual hell is going on at Discovery+?? Who greenlit these movies? This felt like product placement for HGTV but within a Christmas movie? Nothing else happens besides them trying to flip this lady’s house so she can move in with her loaded fiance. Katie Stevens is acting circles around everyone else in this movie. She has absolutely no chemistry with this man and her discount Jenny Slate bestie is so annoying I could scream. It’s like a long, extended version of one of those housing flipping shows, but add in a dash of family drama and reuniting flames from high school (which, gag, no thanks). I don’t have much to say…
